Terms & Conditions

Introduction

This page is governed by Yumiai and Robotics Private Limited (here in after referred to as the "Company," "We," or "Us"). By accessing or using this page, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms, policies, and guidelines set forth by the Company. These terms may be updated periodically, and continued use of the page constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

  • Order Placement & Accuracy

    To ensure a smooth delivery experience, we request customers to double-check that all details provided at checkout — including shipping and billing information — are accurate. Inaccurate details may lead to delays or order cancellations.

  • Agreement to Terms

    By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms outlined here.

  • Order Confirmation & Product Availability

    All orders are subject to final confirmation from us. While we aim to maintain accurate stock levels, some items may become unavailable. In such cases, your order may be cancelled, and you will be notified accordingly.

  • Pricing Policy

    We strive to offer fair and consistent pricing on all our products. However, Product prices are subject to change without prior notice. In the event of a pricing discrepancy or unforeseen issue affecting the order, the company reserves the right to cancel the order or clarification can be sought prior to proceeding with the fulfilment of the order. In such instances, the customer shall be duly notified.

  • Delivery Timelines

    We do our best to meet estimated delivery schedules, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather events, strikes, or logistical challenges. We appreciate your patience in such rare situations.

  • Ownership & Risk Transfer

    Once your order has been delivered, the responsibility and ownership of the product pass to you. We cannot be held liable for any damage or loss post-delivery.

  • Creating an account

    We may require you to sign up for an account on the product operating application. You promise to provide us with accurate and complete registration information including about your age, and keep your account and password secure. You are responsible for all activities associated with your account. Yumi is not liable for any loss or damages caused by your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Necessary equipment and data charges

    Full use of the Yumi Product is dependent upon your use of a supported mobile device and Internet access. The maintenance and security of this equipment may influence the performance of the Yumi Product and it is your responsibility to ensure the equipment's functionality. You are responsible for all Internet access charges. Please check with your Internet provider for information on possible Internet data usage charges.

  • Use the Yumi Products at your own risk

    We make no endorsement, representation, or warranty of any kind about any Yumi Content, information, or services. Without limiting the foregoing, we are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, availability, effectiveness, or correct use of information you receive through the Yumi Product. Use of the Yumi Product should not replace your good judgment and common sense. Please read and comply with all safety notices that accompany your use of the Yumi Products.

  • Rights and Terms for Software

    This section applies to our mobile application or software (the "App") that you acquire from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (each, an "App Store") as part of your use of the Yumi Product. Apple and Google are referred to as the "App Providers". The App Providers have no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify the App Providers, and the App Providers will refund the App purchase price to you (if applicable) and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App Providers will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. The App Providers are not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. The App Providers are not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that your possession and use of the App infringe that third party's intellectual property rights. The App Providers and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of the Terms, the App Providers will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

  • Third party services

    We use a third party application to facilitate the operations of product. They may provide links or promotions for different products, here we are not responsible for the products, services, or other content that are available from Third-Party application. You acknowledge that any Third-Party Services that you use in connection with the Yumi product, such as third party applications accessed, are not part of the Yumi product and are not controlled by Yumi, and you take sole responsibility and assume all risk arising from your interaction with or use of any Third-Party Services. You also acknowledge that these Terms and our Privacy Policy do not apply to any Third-Party Services. You are responsible for reading and understanding the terms and conditions and privacy policy that applies to your use of any Third-Party Services.

  • Product Inspection on Delivery

    We recommend checking your package at the time of delivery. If you notice any damage or tampering, please bring it to our attention immediately so we can assist you promptly.

  • Returns & Refunds

    Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days, as per the guidelines outlined in our Refund Policy. We're committed to resolving return requests efficiently.

  • Intellectual Property Rights

    All logos, content, and product imagery on our website are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any content is strictly prohibited.

  • Privacy & Data Protection

    Your trust matters to us. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

  • Order Cancellations

    Order can't be cancelled once it is placed.

  • Limitation of Liability

    Our liability is limited to the purchase value of the product. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.

  • Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    All purchases made through our website are governed by Indian law. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Gurugram, India.

  • Policy Updates

    We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the website following any changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.

  • CONTESTS, REFERRALS AND GIVEAWAYS

    Additional terms and conditions may apply to contests, giveaways, referrals and other promotions sponsored by Yumi or its partners. It is your responsibility to carefully review those terms and conditions.

  • Warranty Policy

    Yumiai and Robotics Private Limited warrants each Yumi Product against defects in materials under normal use in accordance with Yumi's published terms of use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of delivery of the original purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period"). Please note warranty will be void if

    • product is exposed to water,
    • product is exposed to excessive humidity,
    • outer layer is tampered
    • product is burned in any way
    • product has short circuit because of excessive charging
    • product has any accidental damage

    Except where prohibited by applicable law, the warranty is non-transferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the country in which the product was purchased. If your Yumi Product was originally purchased by someone else as a gift for you, as shown by a gift receipt, you will be considered the "original purchaser".

How Consumer Law Relates to this Warranty- THE WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR BY COUNTRY OR PROVINCE). OTHER THAN AS PERMITTED BY LAW, YUMI DOES NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE, INCLUDING THOSE THAT MAY ARISE FROM THE NONCONFORMITY OF A SALES CONTRACT. FOR A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR RIGHTS YOU SHOULD CONSULT THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PROVINCE, OR STATE. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you. LIMITATION ON DAMAGES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WARRANTY, AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YUMI'S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL YUMI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA, RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF YUMI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

What is Not Covered by the Warranty? The warranty does not apply to any non-Yumi branded hardware products, or any software, even if packaged or sold along with Yumi-branded hardware. Other sellers may provide their own warranties to you. Software distributed by Yumi with or without the Yumi brand is not covered by the warranty. Please refer to the Terms for details of your rights with respect to its use. Yumi does not warrant that the operation of the Yumi Product will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Yumi is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Yumi Product's use. The warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from Consumable parts, such as batteries unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports Use with another product Accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause beyond our reasonable control Operating the Yumi Product outside Yumi's published guidelines Service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Yumi or a Yumi Authorized Service Provider ("ASP"); (vii) modification of Yumi Product functionality or capability without the express written permission of Yumi Normal wear and tear or due to normal aging of the Yumi Product. This limited warranty does not, under any circumstances, cover the replacement of or reimbursement for any electronic device or personal property, or anything else that is not a Yumi Product. Before receiving warranty service, Yumi or its agents may require that you furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Yumi's procedures for obtaining warranty service. Following warranty service, your Yumi Product or a replacement product will be returned to you as your Yumi Product was configured when originally purchased, subject to applicable updates. You will be responsible for adding any embellishments and reinstalling all other software programs, data, and information. This warranty does not cover recovery and reinstallation of other software programs, data, and information.

This Limited warranty policy is subject to the provisions of our Terms of Use:

  • Do not collide, impact, squeeze or puncture;
  • Do not wash the product, leave it in rain or leave it in >60% humid conditions
  • Do not disassemble, repair or modify by yourself;
  • Do not use this product when it is damaged or broken;
  • Do not charge continuously for more than 4 hours, Red light: Charging, Green light: Fully charged; make sure someone is present when charging, and do not charge when going out or leaving for a long time;
  • Please be sure to check this product regularly. If you find that the charging cable is abnormal, please stop using it immediately, otherwise there is a risk of leakage, short circuit or fire;
  • Do not clean the product during booting or charging.

Pre-Booking Terms & Conditions

1. What is Pre-Booking?

Pre-booking allows you to reserve Yumi products in advance, ensuring priority access once the product becomes available. Availability is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Payment Terms

  • Full or partial payment (as specified on the product page) is required to confirm your pre-booking.
  • If partial payment is made, the remaining balance must be paid before dispatch.
  • Orders will only be released or shipped upon receipt of full payment.

3. Delivery

Home Delivery

  • You'll be notified once your order is ready for dispatch.
  • Delivery estimates by location can be checked using our Pincode Checker Tool on the product page.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations are allowed only before the order is invoiced.
  • Eligible cancellations will incur a 4% processing fee to cover payment gateway and administrative costs.
  • If we are unable to fulfill your pre-booking due to stock limitations, a full refund will be issued without any deductions.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

5. Product Availability

  • Pre-bookings are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • In the event of overbooking or allocation restrictions, affected customers will be contacted and fully refunded.
  • Pre-booking does not guarantee product availability, as stock limitations may apply.

6. Changes to Pre-Booking

  • Changes to product selection, or delivery method cannot be made after the order is confirmed.
  • Please review all details carefully before placing your order.

7. Pricing & Taxes

  • Prices shown at the time of booking are final and inclusive of all applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise
